These are the Barcelona locations we love the most! We didn’t mention here all those most popular Barcelona tourist destinations just for the purpose to give you our local inside and not to describe some famous touristic attractions of Barcelona that you can find everywhere.

For your convenience we divided our favorite Barcelona sights according to their locations.

Gothic quarter

Catedral de Barcelona

Basílica de Santa Maria del Pi

Basílica de Santa Maria del Pi, a Gothic church set on an elegant square with plenty of tapas bars around. On the weekends and holidays there is an Art market where you can meet the artists. It is just a few minutes’ walk from the Cathedral.

Plaça de Sant Jaume

Plaça de Sant Jaume, landmark city square & gathering point, home to the town hall & the Palau de la Generalitat

Plaça Reial

Basílica de la Mercè

Basílica de la Mercè is a stunning statue-topped 1700s church dedicated to the city’s patron saint, with lavish, rococo interiors.
